Steve's qualifications and experience include a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design and Certificate in Permaculture Design, an MA in Environmental Planning, a BA Hons in Economics and Geography, teaching and co-teaching on at least a dozen permaculture courses, years of experience in Agenda 21 development work and training and consultancy related to the practicalities of achieving local sustainability (particularly sustainable construction), and most of the last three years living and working on a voluntary basis at the ecological and natural health focused Ecoforest low impact raw food community in Spain.
